Upgraded the site from .NET Core 4.6.2 to .NET Core 8.0, ensuring compatibility with the latest features and improvements.
Updated the project’s target framework to .NET Core 8.0.
Migrated to the latest versions of necessary NuGet packages.
Reviewed and refactored code to address deprecated APIs and optimise performance.
Updated Entity Framework Core to the latest version and ensured all database migrations were correctly applied.
Reviewed and adjusted configuration settings to align with the new version.
Carried out extensive testing to ensure stability and performance.
Deployed the site to a staging environment, validated it, and then moved it to production.
Implemented monitoring in production to catch any potential issues.
